PhonePe is a digital wallet company owned by Flipkart, and one of the first payment apps built on the Unified Payments Interface (UPI). The PhonePe app is available in more than 11 Indian regional and local languages. Using PhonePe, users can send money and receive money all bank anywhere in country, pay the bill mobile telcome and DTH, purchase mobiles, data cards, utility payments, gold and online and offline shopping, and buy anythings through digital way payment.

Sameer Nigam is an Indian entrepreneur who founded PhonePe, an UPI-based online payment system, in 2015 and serves as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO). He also worked at Flipkart as Senior Vice President of Engineering. In 2009, he launched his first venture, Mime360, .
