Early life:

Dream 11 was founded in 2008 by Harsh Jain, Bhavit Sheth and Varun Dagen. In 2012, he started a freemium fantasy game in India for cricket fans. In 2014, the company reported 1 million registered users, which increased to 2 million in 2016. 45 million in 2018. In April 2019, Steadview Capital completed a secondary investment in Dream11. In addition to Steadview, Dream 11 investors included Kalari Capital, Think Investments, Multiples Equity and Tencent.

The company also ranked on the list and ranked 9th in India’s Great Mid-Size Workplace – 2018. Dream 11 was also found as one of the top 10 startup innovative companies in India by Fast Company in 2019.

Harsh Jain- Education:

Harsha completed her primary education at Greenwells High School. He studied IB from Sevenoaks High School for three years (2001–2003). He pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, electric engineering, mathematics, and economics at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia for five years (2003–2007).

He was a sports freak and attended Upen Cricket Club and Intramural Football (Soccer) while studying at the university. In 2012, he did a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Columbia Business School in New York.

Brand ambassadors:

Cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni is the brand ambassador of Dream 11 and launched the “Dimag Se Dhoni” media campaign during the 2018 Indian Premier League. The company first signed commentator Harsha Bhogle in 2017 as its brand ambassador. In the 2019 IPL, Dream 11 signed with seven cricketers and partnered with the Indian Premier League franchise as part of marketing

Partnerships:

On August 18, 2020, Dream 11 won the sponsorship of the 2020 Indian Premier League for ₹ 2.22 billion, after which Vivo withdrew for a this  year. the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in march 2019,announced Dream 11 as the official partner of the IPL. The four-year special partnership began with the IPL 2019 season. Additionally, Dream 11 will also conduct the ‘Official Fantasy Game’ of the IPL.

In October 2019, New Zealand Cricket (NZC) announced Dream 11 as the title sponsor for the Super Smash domestic Twenty20 competition.

, Dream 11 announced in 2018, its partnership with the ICC (International Cricket Council), Pro Kabaddi League, International Hockey Federation (FIH), WBBL and BBL. In 2018, through the above partnership, Dream 11 introduced two new games on its platform namely Kabaddi and Hockey.

In 2017, the company partnered with three leagues within cricket, football and basketball. Dream 11 became the official fictional partner for the Hero Caribbean Premier League, the Hero Indian Super League and the National Basketball Association (NBA). Later in the year, he partnered with the Hero Indian Super League as his official fantasy football partner. In November 2017, the National Basketball Association of America (NBA), the professional basketball league of America, launched a fantasy basketball game in conjunction with Dream 11 and the official NBA Fantasy game on its platform.
